So Long, My Charming Friends

The past six months were wonderful fun and I thank all my friends for coming here and reading my thoughts and looking at my wacky pictures and still liking me anyway (I hope).
I am nearing graduation and this final study and the process of getting my business up and running, leaves no time for snarky comments or the pondering of the world,
however
those who know me well can look for a blog attached to my new web site that will discuss organizing and decorating in a very charming way.

The Grim Reaper

It is raining today; cold blustery rain. I had hoped that the clouds would have emptied themselves after raining all day yeasterday, but they seem to have an un-ending supply of doom and gloom. Today I had planned on emptying all my summer floweres from their pots and storing the extra garden flags and do-dads in the garage. These floweres, mostly on their last legs, are an eyesore and that's my fault. I've been so busy that some of them may have died a premature death primarily from neglect.
Now though, with these two day s of rain the heardiest of them will surely perk back up. This, of course, only makes it harder to dump their newly greened leaves into a garbage bag.
So tomorrow, while most of you are reading the sunday paper or catching up on laundry, I'll be playing the part of the grim-reaper; hoping I'm being forgiven by the god-of-plants, where-ever she may be.

This morning I just happened to find this great blog Three Beautiful Things . It seemed a good-luck find on a dreary rainy Saturday morning.

Thinking it Over

Since my cultural study of mid-century women is over, I am contemplating what to do with this page and all of my seven or so readers. I am begining a new business and have just begun my last six months of school; needles to say it is a busy time. Add to that my kids sports schedules and our combined homework and well, you get the picture. I'll keep you updated...
